Edward is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in Transaction Advisory, Deal Structuring, Investment Advisory, Sourcing for Funds, Accounting, Management Advisory, Auditing, Capacity Building, and Taxation. With over 20 years of business advisory experience, he has gained a deep understanding of the current global business landscape. Edward is the founder and managing director of TLB, bringing unique skills to the organization and developing a reputation for being a focused, value-adding professional.

Before founding TLB in 2012, Edward held positions such as Managing Director at TLB Associates, Audit and Assurance Manager for Rwanda and Burundi at KPS Associates (former KPMG Rwanda), and Audit Supervisor at Kazibwe Kenneth and Steven Certified Public Accountants. He also serves as a Board Member at Free Mind Hive Uganda, an NGO that supports persons with mental health challenges.

Edward is an active community member, serving as the Chairman of the Hope Creators Investment Club and the President of the Rotary Club of Muyenga Sunday Sunset for 2023/24. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACCA), a Certified Accounting Technician (CAT), and a Certified Public Accountant of Rwanda (ICPAR). Edward holds a bachelor's degree in applied accounting from Oxford Brookes University (UK). He has undergone comprehensive training and facilitation coaching from the International Finance Corporation—IFC, including certification as a trainer in Business Edge and SME-Toolkit.

David is a seasoned tax professional with over three decades of experience in tax revenue administration, tax compliance, and tax advisory/consultancy in both public and private sectors. He has held senior positions at Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), Ernst & Young Certified Public Accountants of Uganda, and Ernst & Young Rwanda Limited. David's areas of expertise include income tax and international tax advisory, transaction tax advisory, investment advisory, group tax restructuring, tax dispute/controversy management, and tax due diligence.

His regional tax knowledge spans Uganda and Rwanda, and he has served various sectors, including Financial Services, Construction Services, Telecommunications, and Extractive Industries (Mining and Oil & Gas) while at Ernst & Young. With a wealth of experience, David has held positions such as Associate Tax Director at Ernst and Young Rwanda Limited, Manager/Senior Manager/Associate Director at Ernst and Young Certified Public Accountants of Uganda, and Revenue Officer/Senior Revenue Officer/ Senior Inspector of Taxes at URA. He also represents the private sector on the Tax Agents Registration Committee (TARC) of the Board of Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), contributing to the registration and regulation of tax agents.

David is a Chartered Certified Accountant and a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the UK (FCCA), a Member of the Association of Certified Public Accountants of the UK (ACCA), and a Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU). He holds a Bachelor of Statistics (Honors) Degree, a Diploma in Income Tax Administration, and a Commonwealth Tax Inspectors Certificate (CTIC).

Sylvia is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience as a highly efficient consultant and inspirational leader. Her expertise spans various sectors, including financial services, development agencies, healthcare, education, manufacturing, oil and gas, climate change, agribusiness, projects, processes, and fundraising.

Sylvia has a confident communication style and demonstrates the ability to gain the trust of diverse audiences. She is known for her pragmatic thinking and solid analytical skills, which enable her to provide solution-based strategies in strategy, governance, financial management and advisory, systems development and evaluation, organizational assessments and institutional transformation, risk management framework designs, capacity building, and performance management.

Prior to her current role as Director of Advisory Services, Sylvia consulted with Jefferson Consulting Group, USA, International Business & Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI), USA, USAID/West Africa, and USAID/Uganda. She also held senior positions in entities like USAID/Uganda, UGAFODE Uganda LTD (MDI), Finance Trust Bank, and FINCA Uganda, where she honed her skills and expertise. Sylvia is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda and holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) and an honors bachelor’s degree in commerce. Her professional expertise, leadership acumen, and extensive experience make her an asset in any organizational setting.

Olga is the Direcetor of Marketing and Business Development at TLB. Olga is also an industrialist, farmer, and church minister. She operates Phili Knitwear Center and Makhedama Knitwear and Clothing, two clothing manufacturing companies established in Johannesburg, Gauteng province. She is also the founder and managing director of Ngangalala Logistics and Kingsland Poultry, a poultry, cattle, and Macadamias company.

Olga has worked in several countries, including Uganda, South Africa, Malawi, Swaziland, and Mozambique.

She has excellent corporate and public relations skills. She has a vast business network and, since joining the ministry in Before starting her businesses, Olga worked with Cricket South Africa, corporate, government departments, and schools.

Rose is a senior professional with over 25 years of experience as a result-oriented consultant. She is exposed to various sectors, including financial services, development agencies, Utilities, education, and agribusiness.

She has extensive exposure and superior training in corporate finance and credit analysis, strategic management and business planning, leadership and supervisory skills, financial management, mentoring and coaching teams, reporting and analysis, and tax management.

Before joining TLB, Rose served as the Chief Finance Officer of BRAC Uganda Bank, Senior Manager Finance at Housing Finance Bank, Finance Manager at Finance Trust Bank, and Accountant at Uganda Electricity Board. Previously, she was the chairperson of the Board of Trustees for the Housing Finance Bank Retirement Benefits Scheme and is currently the member and secretary of the supervisory committee of CPA(U) SACCO.

Rose is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU). She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Finance).

Harriet is a Human Resources and Administration generalist practitioner with over 20 years of experience in the humanitarian, development, and private sectors. She is a team builder and a participatory leader with a strong results orientation. As a highly exposed consultant, Harriet can quantify the unmatched value of high returns on human capital investments.

Harriet is an astute professional who is highly skilled in attracting valuable employees, building employee relations, and training and development. She is skilled in human resource planning, management, and administration specialist. She has provided support to organizations with detailed tasks requiring sound judgment. She has also enhanced human resource management and administration of corporate affairs and promoted a culture of equity and accountability among staff within sectors such as Financial Services, Development Agencies, Education, Healthcare, and Trade.

Before joining TLB, Harriet worked as a Director of Human Resources at Save the Children Iraq, Save the Children Somalia and Uganda. She also worked as a Senior Advisor, Human Resources, Administration, and IT at Save the Children Afghanistan, Human Resources Manager at Finca Bank Uganda, Chef Manager of Human Resources at Finance Trust Bank, Human Resources Officer at the Infectious Disease Institute, and a Human Resources manager at Post Ban Uganda.

Harriet is a Chartered Secretary and a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of the United Kingdom (ICSA). She holds a Masters in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Arts.

Ben is an IT specialist with over ten years of experience in writing, debugging, and maintaining, assisting in the development of custom applications and software systems in Node.js, Python, and Java. Ben has performed several systems analyses and designs for new and existing applications, assisted with planning and designing systems and application architecture, and translated several systems requirements into application prototypes. He has also developed user interfaces based on given design parameters and participated in agile software development lifecycle within a team environment, including tests of design and code to identify issues or defects.

Ben has over six years of experience developing and executing visual design concepts that increase website traffic and conversion rates by creating visually appealing and user-friendly designs. He has extensive experience working with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe After Effects, Premier Pro, and other professional editing tools.

Ben's versatility is evident in his ability to work with Microsoft and Apple operating systems, as well as a range of devices including computers, servers, printers, and scanners. His networking skills cover both wired and wireless setups, voIP telephone systems, and wireless data transfer. He also provides relevant software training and antivirus protection, ensuring a comprehensive and secure IT environment.

Margaret is a results-driven professional with nearly thirty years’ financial and management accounting experience, gained both in Uganda and the United Kingdom (UK). From monitoring large UK Government budgets, to laying the foundations for the financial operations of Galaxy International School Uganda, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. Particularly, Margaret exhibits a track record of meeting company goals and promoting best practice.

She has a solid background in financial analysis and problem-solving, combined with exceptional attention to detail. Margaret thrives under pressure and adapts to challenges with ingenuity and resilience. Making effective prioritisation and time allocation judgements, she manages multiple tasks with marked efficiency. She is a flexible team player with superior leadership qualities. She exhibits proven negotiation mastery, manifesting excellent ability to maximise value in all agreements.

Outside work, Margaret loves serving humanity. She is a Rotarian; a Past President (2023/24) of the Rotary Club of Kigo and an Assistant Governor (2025/26). A member of the Planning and Development Committee at All Saints Chapel Lweza, she serves as Lead Landscaping and Garden Beautification. She enjoys keeping active, entertaining, and travelling; and is passionate about interior design.

Margaret holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Leeds (UK) and a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree (BA Hons) in Social Sciences from Makerere University Kampala. Certifications include Practical Training in Accountancy and Payroll (PTAP), Financial Accounting and Budgeting (FAB), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Microsoft Excel Expert (MOS).

Michelle is a results-driven and collaborative professional serving as an Associate at TLB. She brings diverse experience from roles in sales, finance, and customer service across Mauritius and Uganda. Her experience includes positions at Cococerlo Ltd, Zest Capital, and Sugar Beach Resort, where she developed strong skills in sales, financial analysis, and customer service.

Michelle possesses great communication, critical thinking, time management, and leadership skills.

She holds a Certificate of International Foundation Program from Middlesex University, Mauritius, and is pursuing a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance.

Craig is a seasoned management professional serving as an Associate at TLB. He brings extensive experience from his tenure as General Manager at C&C Vet and Agribusiness in Malawi.

Graig's background in Business Management and Finance, combined with his strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, makes him a valuable asset to TLB. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management (Finance).
